Appalachian Regional Entrepreneurship Group (AREG)

The Appalachian Regional Entrepreneurship Group (AREG) works with businesses and entrepreneurs in the 29-county Appalachian Ohio region.  AREG and its local, state, federal and private partners provide customized consulting services to help start and grow businesses.  Services include assistance with business planning, finance and accounting, marketing, business strategy, organizational development, and technology development and improvement.

Appalachian Regional Entrepreneurship Group Helps Biofuel Firm Acquire Funding

With help from the Voinovich School’s Appalachian Regional Entrepreneurship Group (AREG), Logan, Ohio firm Chieftain Biofuels received approximately $1.5 million in grants and loans to start a unique soy based, biodiesel processing plant in Hocking County.
